If you lived in the midwest some half century ago or more, and if you were also looking for continuous "Nude-A-Rama, Gorgeous Girls Galore" action, then the Cat Balleu Lounge in KC MO was THE place (out of 3) to be! Featuring top entertainers in "Mid America's Greatest Fun Complex / Famous Fun Spot", this club also had the advantage of having someone do a really amazing job designing their matchbook covers! You get the cartoony boy and girl cat mascots on the front looking playful as ever, not to mention the actual matchsticks themselves are doing a rather sizzlin' little striptease act of their own! But what I really love about all of this is the other fun spot where they placed the match strike area-- right on a booty shakin' backside! "Strike Her Rear!" it says! Haha... this is definitely one of the better vintage matchbooks I've found lately.

The matches are like the magic nudie pens but you just have to wiz them by your eyes to make them work!
The strike era on the butt is ... well, it's genius. Let's be real. Whoever did that should have won a prize for it.
Also, the art is incredible for the same size it's printed, It really does take a good deal of skill to make some recognizable art in 2 colors and that size.
I love how they aren't quite confident enough to put "America's greatest" but go for "mid America's greatest."
It looks like a few matches were struck on her part where the sun don't shine, unless she was a nudist then all bets are off.
These matches were an early version of the disappearing bikini pen that were popular decades ago. Of course nowadays few bother with pens, its all sign with your finger on the tablet, though a disappearing bikini stylus might make it as a 21st century novelty gag.
Yeah, this might just be the best matchbook I've ever seen. The good art, the novelty strike pad, and the matchsticks themselves providing a sequential striptease. All of that is just a-grade ad work. Very cool find.
