Take a look at this beautifully painted 1920’s Omar Pearls advertisement which was also stamped in copper and used as a very tiny, wafer-thin, double-sided product tag on their art deco era jewelry boxes. She's lost a bit of her gypsy deco-ness in the copper translation, and almost looks Native American instead. Yep, another super find today, --and so small that I seriously almost missed it! At the end of the post I've also added another example of that lovely mascot face as it appeared on the original company letterhead. Okay, back to washing my indestructible pearls now...

The elegant lady featuring the pearl necklace wouldn't be out of place in a Prince Valiant comic, or on the cover of an Edgar Rice Burroughs adventure.
The artwork is reminiscent of the covers of pulp magazines of the 20's and 30's. I can only wonder who the artist was who illustrated the Omar Pearls princess.
Great find as always, thanks for sharing.
Yeah, that didn't translate very well to the metal, but the image itself, while different, is cool in its own way, and has a more mysterious look. The original has more of a "watching something" look.
I don't think we use the word "lustre" enough anymore. Everybody work that into something!
The pearls are indestructible; but their lustre, on the other hand, must be cared for like a little baby.
Such a cool product tag. I'm glad you saw it.
