Another statue-esque naked lady that has recently become a permanent fixture here in my home (see previous post), is this lovely deco era bronze figure produced by Nuart. Though the lighting in my photos makes her appear to be wearing a one piece swimsuit, I assure you, she is most definitely au-naturel! Online research shows this pose, along with an original, heavy-duty marble base, worked well for not only table lamps, but also for tall floor ashtrays. She's a little dinged up, but I do plan to restore her and maybe even convert her back into something fun for the 'ol office. More on that later as a concept develops...

She's a beaut. I saw pix of her as a lamp, but I feel like an ashtray--or you know, a "stuff tray"--would be an easier fit. You wouldn't have to find the perfect globe lampshade for one thing. And then you'd have another place for stuff!
Once more, you find a beautiful work of art, Karswell. This is really great in spite of the scuff marks. I can't wait to see this restored.
She needs to sue whatever doctor gave her that c-section!
I like the coy side glance, that's some fine model work.
Oh wow, yeah, now that I've seen the Lin Streeter version of this over at THOIA I am am most definitely all for making her into a birdbath!
Way ahead of you, Mr C! *tweet tweet!
