Drinks of Hawaii

A fun little early 70's booze booklet from Honolulu, Hawaii, full of island concoctions to plaster your caster silly. I particularly love the funny Tom Rixford illustrations of Mr. C heavily sprinkled throughout all 60+ pages-- here are just a handful of my favorites-- Mahalo! :)

Very cute stuff, the short and stout characters always make for good comic moments. While I don't drink, if I started, I don't think I'd start with the one on page 7 that knocks you dead!

Had enough booze for awhile-- how about some cereal fun? Up next! Thanks for the comments 😊

Yikes! For a minute, I thought that guy in the 3rd image was pantsless in the bushes spying on the native girl.

I thought that might be Don Ho too, but in this size/scan it also looks a little like Jackie Chan. So I choose to believe the ad is lobbying for some kind of drunken boxing gateway elixir--which explains much about me, I'm afraid.

I love all of these, but it's the series of images with the drunken that I like the most, I think. What a vacation they are having!

(And, ahem, my ass doesn't look nearly that big in my little safari cargo capris, thanks you very much. I do like the little guy's hat, though.)
