Silly Sidney

Sidney the Elephant was created in the late 50's as an animated Terrytoon for CBS / 20th Century Fox (find out more HERE and watch on youtube too); but for now enjoy this wonderfully illustrated, and very funny Sidney tale from Wonder Books (1965.)

Wonderful. Sometimes this looks like brushes and sometimes it looks like markers. Maybe it's both. Either way, it always looks like it was done on watercolor paper, and I love that look.

I think my favorite character is that happy diamondback.

Karswell: I'm with Mr. Calvin in trying to figure out the medium. I agree that Watercolor paper is a fantastic look. I also agree with him that it's wonderful.

So wonderful, in fact, I'm jealous I didn't snatch it up first.
