Dodge City's Chamber of Horrors

A quick post for you as I finish up a much larger post for later this week... this 60's brochure from The Midwest's Famous Gunfighters Wax Museum in Dodge City, Kansas shows the place as a fun mix of US presidents, TV stars of the decade, old west heroes and villians-- plus classic monsters! The idea of outlaws like Jessie and Frank James rubbing waxen elbows with the likes of The Wolfman and Dracula (and "buried alive!" too) in a Chamber of Horrors sounds like a mighty fine time in my book. And if that's not scary enough for you, how about the gruesomely "real as life", spooky severed head of legendary desperado, Joaquin Murrieta-- eeek!
