50's Ads! Ads! Ads!

Here are a handful of cool 'n cartoony advertisments from the March 1951 issue of Radio Television Mirror Vol. 35 No. 4, as well as a couple from the November 1955 "Utopia of Obsenity" issue of Sir! (A Magazine for Males.) Boy, I sure do love the Bissell Sweepers Rug-A-Boo!

We're celebrating Turkey Day today with some deliciously fun themed imagery from The Gas Holiday Cook Book booklet (1958 Milliken Publishing Company, illustrations by Pres Bagent and Paul Stoddard.) You gotta love that hobo sniffing the pie cooling on the windowsill, and the pig rubbing himself down with mustard as he totally can't wait to get in the oven! Plus, a few cute images from Carnation's "Desserts Plain & Fancy" pamphlet, 1953. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
