A small sampling of fun stuff from the toy section of a National Bellas Hess bargains mail order catalog, dated 1958... lots of neat items in this one, I might post more from it later this month.
I wonder what the budget model looked like. It must have been the budget model if the top of the line cost $1.69, which wasn't super expensive even in 1958 (kids, save your nickels and dimes to own your own dancing monkey!)
I wonder how much these toys would sell for as vintage/antiques today.
Yeah no fair. I want to see a picture of the smaller, eighty-nine cent monkey playing the banjo. The Rock 'n roll banjo. But seriously, that thirteen inch Popeye vinyl figure is the catnip here.
