Cute, but deadly art adorning the shelf edges of a vintage metal RAID / OFF! bug spray display stand that I saw at an antique mall this afternoon. God, I would love to have it and display my own plethora of cute 'n deadly junk upon it, but unfortunately it wasn't for sale-- wah!
Oh my freaking god I would love to have that shelf too! That is so awesome!
ReplyDeleteYeah it's really great! They actually had TWO of them (neither for sale) and were only using them to display less than interesting stuff that nobody wants-- arghhh
ReplyDeleteI love the boy and the girl in their protective magic cloud of OFF. You should find this place another set of shelves and then go back with a trade.
ReplyDeletePretty soon you will have enough stuff to start your own antique store, Karsewll, with cursed antiques as a specialty (hey, everybody needs a gimmick.)
ReplyDeleteAntique store motto -
We buy junk
We sell antiques
Pretty soon? According to the people I live with, our humbke abode has been an antique MALL of epic proportions for quite a few years, haha ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm working on a plan to get those shelves, Mr. C-- you can count on it!
We had one of those stands in our basement for years. My dad worked for A&P stores and had gotten it from there. We stored our jams, pickles and preserves on it. I always thought that was odd. Unfortunately, the stand disappeared some years ago. Not sure what happened to it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you're looking at it in this post, Tom!
ReplyDeleteThe thought entered my mind. I was going to ask you where it was, but then I saw you said it was NFS. Dang.
ReplyDeleteThe last picture of the girl with white hair looks a bit like Sabrina the teenage witch.
ReplyDeleteI guess even Wiccans need a bit of help repelling pests.
