Of all the Santo films that ever got made, the one that didn't is the one that should've! And here today at AEET, we have EXCLUSIVE, RARE film stills taken from the set of the completely forgotten "Santo in the Ozarks", an unfinished Filmadora Panamericana / Spencer Gifts production from the 1960's or 70's, where our hero Santo finds himself stranded in the Ozark mountain wilds after being called in "Yojimbo" style to help settle the never ending feud between the Hatfields and McCoys. Battling discrimination from the local yokels, as well as facing certain starvation when a clan of hill billy kin steals his order of Kentucky Fried Chicken and mashed puh-taters (see product placement / tie-in photo detail below), Santo must use his wrasslin' wits to get his meal deal back before it turns sour, while also confronting some piss happy hicks and their frisky, vivacious daughters (who are unfortunately suffering from equally raging urinary tract infections just like their pappys.) It's really quite complicated for a Santo script. For more amazing, EXCLUSIVE AEET films that never got made see: The Girl's Locker Room from the Black Lagoon, and Gypsy Huggers vs. Chill Chasers!

Wonderfully Made
Published right here in St. Louis MO in 1967 by Concordia House Ltd, Wonderfully Made was one of six books in a sex education series created for (ahem) pastors, teachers, youth workers, and parish planners in an attempt to "help growing boys and girls better understand their roles and live their lives as Christians." Or something. Apparently some professionals were brought in for the scientific angles and facts, though in my opinion the real professional involved here seems to be the artist, simply credited as "Concordia Films." In fact, the art is so good, it doesn't even need any carefully worded text, because as you will see, when the pictures are put in order below they just as easily tell the tale of the birds and bees, and the ramifications, wonderfully.

Archie & Jughead Meet Dracula
The story is actually called "Man's Best Fiend" and comes from the November 1961 issue of Archie #123 (plus a great alien cover too!), featuring the fun artistic combo of Harry Lucey and Marty Epp, silly script by Frank Doyle, and super scans donated by Canada's very own maestro of the macabre-- Drazen, "The Happy Undertaker." (Thanks again, maestro man!)
