Father's Day cards from my collection, the focus here on cute animals gettin gushy... all of these date from the 40's through the 60's, lovely designs and illustrations (some contain lil bits of fur, flocking, and shiny gold overlay) from
Ambassador, Norcross, Hallmark, Rust Craft and possibly the one and only

really cute!!! the kitty that's grilling the steak is great! i love those old brick grills! i also love the blue rooster - and the blue and green Happy Father's Day on the one with the dogs. and man that Happy-Heart Cards logo is insanely cute!

ReplyDeleteI really love the hat that suave dude on the cover of card number two is wearing. And that smooth operator on the inside of card five is really cool (he looks like some unrufflable Hanna-Barbera hero). I guess I'm all about the rabbits today.
