A couple more highlights from "Happy Halloween! Things to Make and Do" (see our last post as well.) Now you too can turn your creepy castle into a blood drenched tomb of vampiric terror! This really is a fun little book with cute art, and includes many more spooky things you and your friends can make too: masks, treat bags, cookies, games, etc. --if only the cornball jokes were better!
Bag puppets are the best! Seriously, there is no end to the excellence one can achieve painting on, and otherwise decorating, a brown paper bag. It's better than Lego men.
ReplyDeleteHey! Leggo my brown paper bag puppet!! *RIIIIP!!

ReplyDeleteThis reminded me of a Dracula marionette I made in 5th grade with a Styrofoam ball and cardboard. My teacher liked it so much, she kept it. :( Thanks for reminding me of such a painful memory.
