ReplyDeleteI could imagine either Lugosi or Karloff being the haunted house host for such an event.
This is something Charles Addams never turned into a comic- The Addams Family opening their home to the neighbors during October, and one of the guests replying "You sure did a great job setting up the illusion that this house is haunted" whereupon Gomez and Morticia, along with a ghost appearing through a wall, asking in unison "Illusion???"
