Exquisite Magic Lady

Here's another exquisite example of 1960's packaging design found in the ultra cute illustrations and sea-foam green / gold color combinations of an Exquisite Form Magic Lady underwear brief bag. And I might add, she's definitely working her magic on me in that terrific turban and capelet! As if that ain't enough, the insert booklet inside contains even more delicious artwork and gorgeous pink / gold colors. And yes, yes, yes-- like you even have to ask-- I am absolutely working "fabricadabra" into my lingo whenever possible!

#6 looks like something you'd load into the forward tubes of a sub.

It's interesting but it looks like they basically used the same art on the cover 4 times, and just cut and pasted some adjustments (and cut off the top knot in the shrunk ones.) I'm not sure why it's advertised as yarn -- this looks like cotton and elastic stuff. Yarn is what you knit a sweater out of, not exactly shape wear, but then, what do I know about fashion? Not much!

A-C cup is same price, but D cup is 0.50 cents more? Highway robbery!

I could imagine Sabrina the witch pronouncing "fabricadabra" and accidentally turning Salem into a jacket.

Oh man, that last image is just great. I like the gold/pink two-color thing already, and that illustration with the optional bullet breastplate is stone punk band flyer material for sure.

That sea foam aqua teal color is one I associate with the looks of permacreased polyester pants and the smell of long, boring afternoons at the laundromat in the late seventies and early eighties. And I used to just loathe it. At some point it started evoking a feeling of nostalgia instead. So strange.

The plastic packaging is seriously amazing. I really love the three slacks. swimsuits. shorts women. although I don't really understand the swimsuit part. Are they suggesting you wear a girdle or bra with your swimsuit?

Large white magic Brief - decidedly functional, not sexy - and yet, there are built in straps for your hose. These days that look is only for lingerie and fishnets, especially if you add a cape and turban. This whole product now has me conflicted

Haha great comments, thanks for everyone that joined in... and I have to admit I find this type of lady undergarment to be oddly attractive, reminding me of my formative years of youth when all we had to work with was images like these from an old JC Penney or Sears catalog! TMI, I know... but tis true.
