Set of four kitschy fun, midcentury drink stirrers / swizzle sticks that I scored from my friend Todd a few months back. Funny lookin' people molded into / onto colorful painted plastic, just a'drinking beer and bowling --or are they lighting old timey, round fuse bombs like they used to have in cartoons? BTW, does anyone use a drink stirrer for their beer?!
Those are absolutely cute! I couldn't even pick out a favorite, each has a great expression and fun little details (like the one tooth on the right.)

Nope. Nobody stirs beer. I love the little feet on these! And the fact that everyone seems to be asleep. Or besotted? Something.
ReplyDeleteMaybe these were drink stirrers/swizzel sticks used in bowling alleys for mixed drinks, since some bowlers might like scotch on the rocks over beer as a change of pace.
