Mix and Fix Cook Book (PART TWO)

We return with the second half of Humpty Dumpty's Mix and Fix Cook Book (1972), see previous post for the first half! --and hopefully you guys can handle this follow-up helping of fun and food, because the cutesy wootsy factor is seriously cutesy-wootsified 10-fold! So while you all tempt your taste buds with waffles and pudding and pink lemonade, (and good luck resisting a reindeer that radly rocks on cello!), I'll be taking a dip in the Tutti-Fruit Float pond, but with one minor modification-- hot dogs instead of bananas!!! SOS indeed! Hope you guys liked this one :)

  1. jesus christ there is just plain rampant cutification going on here. a little smiling bee drinking the honey drink from a straw?!?!? a penguin reclining on an ice cube with a beverage?!?!?! smiling fruits and kitties and doggies everywhere (plus a little doggie drinking from the tutti-frutti float pond with a straw)?!?!! egads this is so freaking cute!!!

of course i love the tropical girls and her tropical record player! but man the whole Pudding Cone scene and the waffle picnic are both just so freaking great!

i may join you in the hot dog water pond but only if i can have the waffle picnic nearby.

and that last illustration where Lucy is trying to find the picnic is hilarious!

  7. Tutti-Fruti Float, page 14, the peeled banana floating on an inner tube deserves an honorable mention in the cutest of all drawings in this book.

  8. Agreed! But remember, I changed the bananas to hot dogs, --which is of course MUCH CUTER! :)
