As promised, another cool mini Osterizer booklet from the 60's with super cute art and taste bud exploding recipes! :) I'm not sure I have the funds for a grilled lobster sandwich today, but a frankfurter-pickle or deviled egg sammie sounds pretty awesome! To the luncheonette!
Actually that's a lobster and Swiss cheese sandwich, much to my horrified delight! Man, these are some pretty deadly lunches. Take the second one: Mix a half pound of fried pork with a half pound of melted cheese, add a lot of salt and even more salty Worcestershire sauce, and then milk fat, then butter and fry the whole thing. It's like carnival food.

ReplyDeletei love sandwich spreads about as much as i love dips! and man oh man do i want to make that deep fried bacon, cheese sandwich!
These spreads sound more interesting and tastier than plain ol' deviled ham or deviled chicken from Underwood.
