Touring '54

You've read up on how to be safe behind the wheel and "arrive alive" (see our previous post HERE), now it's time to learn about accommodations while out and about touring! Where ya gonna stay? And just as importantly-- where ya gonna eat??!! This wonderful Texaco brochure from 1954 has a few suggestions-- that is, if you can ever get beyond the amazing cover illustration!

    With all the green and red it looks so much like a Christmas card! I think I like the zero-point perspective architectural cartoons on the Tourist Homes / Summer Cottages page the best.
