EG Dolls '76

We ended the last post with the ROCK 'N ROLL BABY STROLLER, now you just need a baby doll to rock in it! The EG '76 Sales Catalog (Goldberger Doll MFG. Co., Inc.), contains the usual assortment of pudgy cheeked, dimpled, freckly, pouty, dreamy-eyed crib wetters, but also a few interesting things like the Maskerade Magic Doll 'n Mask for boys and girls (I want that mini Frankenstein mask!!), the frightening ventriloquist twists on Bozo the Clown and Raggedy Ann, or the puffy versions of popular hippy comic strip characters from KISSES! etc. And if your doll isn't the stroller type, there's always the cute animal pull-toy carts, or Swing-A-Ling-- man, do I LOVE the packaging on Susan and Her Swing!     Wow, I've even heard of that Maskerade Magic doll. what an excellent idea! It's like a Halloween action figure. Speaking of that, yeesh, the idea of mating a clown and a ventriloquist's dummy deserves its own movie.

    You could almost play Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein with that one Maskerade set, it's got the Frankenstein mask PLUS what looks like the werewolf mask that Bud wears during the masquerade ball scene.

    that fireman mask is actually really creepy. it's creepier than the frankenstein even.

    Not to risk going stunningly off-topic again, but you mentioned my 2nd favorite universal monster movie -- A&C meet Frankenstein, and know it well enough to place the masks!

    As Mr. Cavin says, those "mask"-erade (har!) magic dolls are a genius idea. Reminds me of my masketron toy.
