I guess I'm the only person enjoying this scorcher of a summer, yeah it's a bit excessive reaching into the triple digits, but I'll take the heat over the ice and snow anyday. Hey, why not do like the gent pictured below: set yourself up outdoors in your favorite lounge chair, under a nice shady tree, with some cool drinks in hand, a turntable and some good tunes, right next to... umm, the sprinkler. It all looks so shockingly relaxing!
More AEET on the way!
Even in my newly-discovered temperate clime I am still looking forward to the fall (as, no matter what you are saying, I know you are as well). The summer can be wonderful (as I have learned--my North Carolina summers notwithstanding), but every other season is still even better. Even the ice and grey and snow of beautiful winter is better. And as much as I have come to love August and September, I can't wait till October....
ReplyDeleteBut the cartoon is super cool.
Fall contains my favorite holiday, but summer contains ladies in various states of minimal clothing and sandals. Summer wins every time... the hotter the better.
ReplyDeleteI get it. ...and yet, I have always preferred the layered look, you now? Jackets on blouses on skirts on tights. Boots. I always liked winter skin types better too (well, on Caucasians): the milky skin, the rosy cheeks, the dark eyes. There is something to be said for unwrapping a present, right?
ReplyDeleteI prefer the milky white vampire flesh too, although something can definitely be said for tan lines.
ReplyDeleteI can definitely live without the layered look-- to the Summer Cave!
If Indian summer could last past halloween we would all be rejoycing. Ah well, maybe global warming will grant that wish. Last year on parts of the east coast it snowed on halloween, what a way to ruin a holiday
ReplyDeleteSeems like we always get rain on Halloween here in the Midwest... nothing worse than having to go costumed as a skeleton in a raincoat!
