Jake in Space

As promised, more highlights from the top notch collection of Jake Schuffert one-panel gags "No Sweat" ...More or Less (1968.) Our last post poked random fun at the military in general, today's post focuses on the 60's Manned Space Program, NASA, missiles, aliens, astronuts, etc. Brilliantly funny, and simply beautiful cartoon art like no other.

    It's amazing how true brushwork (as opposed to work done with a brush pen or marker - or even nib) just jumps off the page, isn't it?
