Aww ain't this sweet-- a mid century wee-wee travel urinal for lil' squirts, hahaha... and never used as you can see as it's still in the original packaging. This appears to be a rather rare find, and the header is wonderfully designed too, with great lettering and color combo. (I especially love that bear mascot!) Lil' Squirt blondie about to perform a wee-wee is also ultra adorbz-- just don't forget to read the ever important directions on the back first.
"Snug fitting lid" I'm glad they got that one right!
ReplyDeleteI love "Tommee Tippee Wee-Wee" that's some good branding right there!
I looked up the patent number under google patents, its patent was applied back in September 1949, the patent was granted in August 1954 and finally expired in August 1971.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how much the inventor Sarah Abersold Johnson received for their device, though some inventors are more interested in creating a useful product than making a lot of money.
I appreciate the work that went into injecting a certain amount of androgyny into that product illustration. That's one way to make something unisex: Girls see girls and boys see boys.
ReplyDeleteToo bad it looks like that kid has road rash. Yeesh. But when ya gotta go....
Nah, I think he's just embarrassed a lil... *blush haha
