Summer's in full swing and it's time to head to the shore for some sun and fun --and most importantly, girl watchin'! And here's a funny little two page article from an early 50's issue of Cavalcade that might get you feelin' inspired. (The last image is also from Cavalcade, but a late 40's issue, seemed like a good fit, after some heavy clean-up 'n editing...)
Ha ha, "a dazzling piece of neck-to-knee business." I dig the stripes, my man! This was so much fun to read, but it's the forties page that takes the cake. I want to see that art get animated!

ReplyDeleteI love the 2nd and 3rd images, don't know where they appeared and if they were together, but I love that mustache dude and bandana lady are basically flipped images of each other. That's clever composition.
