Ben Cooper Disney Costumes

A couple of neat Ben Cooper Disney character costumes made their way into my vintage Halloween collection recently, --yes sir, look kids, it's Mickey and Donald, and surprisingly on-model in their original boxes as well. Love all the cute various Tinkerbell art too!

just in case you were unsure who billy is supposed to be this year,

    love all your finds.

  2. Robin Hood on the box would indicate that these costumes are not older than 1973.

Looks like Snow White gave herself a blonde dye-job, the hussy!

  3. Great pieces from the past. Some kids were probably so freaking excited to wear these once upon a time!

  4. I think it is so weird that Donald is depicted water skiing in his frock portrait. I mean, that duck is obviously a uniformed sailor, not a camp counselor or whatever.

Man, these awesome Halloween costume finds are coming faster and faster.

  5. I'm going to second the water skiing that's ... strange -- and add in the nautical theme (the ropes and the blue/white stars) and he's carrying a flag with his own name (I know part of the costume was to have the name on it) just reads ... weird.

    But I love it!

Both of these are great finds, though the Donald mask is a little worse for wear, but you'd kind of expect that with the beak that sticks out.

  6. Amazing finds, as always!
I'm okay with Donald water skiing. His (and Porky's) lack of pants are more concerning (to me). ;)
