A Pop Hit Card

I recently found A Pop Hit Card from the 50's for $1 at an antique mall. It's a postcard 45 record (look close and you can see the grooves) that plays FEVER by Peggy Lee on one side, just like those cool cereal box singles from the 70's. Fun artwork and funny message from the sender on the back, it was originally mailed to someone in DeSoto, MO in 1959.

  1. Never heard of this type of record before, on the back of cereal boxes yes but not on a post card.

Did you manage to play the record to see how it sounds?

  2. Yeah, did you bust out the little turntable? I would love to know if this still sounds like anything all these years, and miles down the road, later.

I have not but I see no reason why it wouldn't play... unfortunately my turntable is RIP :(
