AEET returns after a much needed vacation (thanks again, beautiful Florida!), and here we have a double batch of nicely rendered Rexall 1980-81 pharmacy advertising, scanned from the pages of their ever awesome yearly Family Almanac handbooks. I've posted quite a few of these over the years so if you've missed them and need to aquire more info then CLICK HERE afterwards!

  1. That woman sure is surprised and a little embarrassed that her kid is tweaking the happy druggist's nose. How does she think her son feels having a mom who is a flasher?

Welcome back from tropical FLA, man. Hope you had a great time.

  2. For some reason I read that as twerking instead of tweaking and had some very confused moments going back over my scans!

Vacation was great, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios is a "must see" event for me every year (though the crowds this time around prevented me from seeing half the haunted houses :P !!!) but the Walking Dead and Michael Meyers experiences were incredible, second only to the awesomeness that was the Aliens vs Predators maze!

Disneys Not So Scary Halloween Party was pretty amazing as well, my son had a blast and it was incredible to see the new Haunted Mansion gift shop "Memento Mori" that has only just recently opened. Rode some spectacularly terrifying roller coasters at Busch Gardens too!

  3. Twerking! Now that would totally explain her facial expression.

I haven't been to Disney World since i was six. All the signs said "EPCOT! Coming soon!" and there was a giant drawing to show us what the new Disney skyline would look like. I felt so cheated. Welcome to your once-in-a-lifetime vacation, children. Look at how much better Tomorrowland's children are going to have it. Right this way to the pretend submarine, though. You can pretend that's good enough!

I'll get back there some day!

  4. I love all the Schoolhouse Rock style illustrations. And that FAST perm is great! They had their own store brand of everything!

    Glad your back!

  5. Haha, yeah the "get fresh" mouthwash girl looks like she should be singing about interjections.

Glad to be back, thanks! :)
