Miss Lollypop Powder Mitt '68

In the grand tradition of Pussy Meow and My Merry Bride of Frankenstein, here's another bit of 60's AEET girl fun, blogged about by a man who is not afraid to admit that he likes (and buys) this kind of stuff. And apparently, Avon released quite a few different items under the Miss Lollypop name, and this lightly scented, talc coated powder mitt is quite fetchingly packaged, featuring adorably illustrated box and mitt art-- and low and behold the one I found is still in its inner plastic wrap, unopened, aka never used! Shall I open it? Shall I take a bath and then gently pat myself down with it? Tell me what you think!

  1. God you make me laugh. I, personally, am of the rip everything open and use it immediately ilk. So I say DO IT!

But you need to do what feels right for you.

And if gently patting yourself down with a girly Miss Lollipop lightly scented, talc coated powder mitt feels right, then by all means...

  2. I'm guessing you want photos of this pat down too, eh?

  3. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT WAS AN OPTION!

But also - I noticed that the girly image on the shrink wrapped part looks like it's on the packaging and I'd like to know if the girly image is on the little mitt too.

I would appreciate photos of every moment of the operation from every angle possible. Thank you.

  4. Wouldn't a name like "Miss Lollypop" imply she was to be licked?

  5. Or maybe she's the one doing the lickin'... either way is all good!

  6. Is it good or bad that I feel really icky and everything tastes like chalk after reading that post and these comments?

I mean, that's the proper reaction, right? :)
