From our last child's digest magazine post, to a couple of "articles" ripped from the pages of two separate adult digest magazines of the 50's, AEET shifts gears and exposes the sexier (or is that sexist?) side of um, sex. First, the obviously scientifically accurate "Beware Marrying These Four Women" from the February 1954 issue of Carnival Vol. 1 #3, and then the photo frolic fun of "The Lady Always Wins" from the July 1958 issue of Foto-Rama Vol. 5 #12... we'll see more from the Foto-Rama issue in the next post too (ya'll like Tina Louise, right?)

That cover is incredible! That's one of the most amazing outfits I've ever seen.

Makes me wanna lick on a candy cane!
Cover is awesome. God bless the lurid fifties. So much of atom-age culture was just nurture for the boomers in those days--it's like the whole world was made for ages eight & up--it's nice to see some of the cracks in that vibe, occasionally.
Haha, exactly!
Right up my ... er .. alley. I'm a big fan of the nudie cutie days of cinema, as well as the 50s men magazines.
I especially enjoy the "fear them, want them" attitude that prevailed in a lot of these, and the pseudo science to back up whatever half baked idea came out of the articles.
Haha, I like that Brian, "pseudo science." perfect!
