These days most people associate naughty uniformed schoolgirls with Japanese anime, but let's go back to the early 1940's where Cambridge born illustrator, Ronald Searle took a simple, hilarious concept and "...crystalized  a demented joke to such a degree that it actually became accepted into English mythology," quote Kaye Webb (aka, Mrs. Ronald Searle.)
