What I really liked about "Children's Digest" were pages that you cut up to make things and occasional articles in comic form (particularly one about old-time magic that revealed how to create bodyless heads with mirrors. Now THAT was a neat trick!).DBensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01144515471557731622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2136311233296776036.post-52838046918389394342017-02-09T14:14:57.104-06:002017-02-09T14:14:57.104-06:00and now we all know how to draw a cute kitten-- ju...and now we all know how to draw a cute kitten-- just start with a lower case m! :)Mr. Karswellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15889717828895556186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2136311233296776036.post-53079572443424487442017-02-09T12:11:47.631-06:002017-02-09T12:11:47.631-06:00Oh man! Seems like it makes use of the definition of "double-up" that indicates that something has been folded, like when someone doubles-over. I'm still skeptical about that, though. In that were true, it seems like "making a fist" would be "doubling a hand." Anyway, that's the one bum note in an otherwise pretty great group of riddles. Well, that one and the smoke one.

My favorite illustration, since I can't choose all of them, is the one for the card trick.Mr. Cavinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01634994342702518448noreply@blogger.com
