My only criticism is with illustrating this particular story, which maintains a seriousish ghost story tone while also being funny (and a little whimsical). But these illustrations are more comical and slapstick, so I don't feel like they jive. They may very well jive with the other stories, though, if they are more cornball than this one. Plus, I think I'd love them like you do if I were to see them independent of the text.Mr. Cavinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01634994342702518448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2136311233296776036.post-78977685689137106642011-03-09T18:01:47.854-06:002011-03-09T18:01:47.854-06:00>I'm a little less enthusiastic about the i...>I'm a little less enthusiastic about the interior illustrations.

Totally disagree Mr. C, the interior illustrations are pretty much what make this book in my opinion, and the fun / loose cartoony style perfectly matches the cornball stories too. The stylized characters remind me of something right out of Colonel Bleep, which I think is one of the most gorgeously designed cartoon shows of all time.Mr. Karswellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15889717828895556186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2136311233296776036.post-12663724638120572272011-03-09T16:51:48.205-06:002011-03-09T16:51:48.205-06:00Excellent--I love a traditional Christmas ghost st...Excellent--I love a traditional Christmas ghost story--and somehow I've never read this one before. I love how it's funny without being all that goofy. The same can be said of the cover of the book itself, but I'm a little less enthusiastic about the interior illustrations.Mr. Cavinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01634994342702518448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2136311233296776036.post-33276936310545860282011-03-09T16:00:36.228-06:002011-03-09T16:00:36.228-06:00Sexy indeed... possibly topless too!Sexy indeed... possibly topless too!Mr. Karswellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15889717828895556186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2136311233296776036.post-77753965983389523522011-03-09T15:11:18.447-06:002011-03-09T15:11:18.447-06:00sexy!sexy!Prof. Grewbeardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16132543249418576650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2136311233296776036.post-59142375465275577962011-03-09T09:57:25.752-06:002011-03-09T09:57:25.752-06:00>they are real small pocket size right?
