It's right next door to the Six Flags in Eureka, MO and at xmas time they also do a really cool and totally overblown drive-thru light show with Hanna Barbera characters plus all kinds of pop culture icons coming to life. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Yogi rode on a golf cart everyday around the park and my brother & I thought it would be funny to put a log on the road.
I played on a Ninja Turtle arcade game for hours, but that's about all I can remember. Oh and the gift shop was fun!Colleen E. Oddly enough, that would probably have actually been the summer of seventy-seven. All I remember is the groovy wooden billboard and a couple of cement cartoon characters that were too hot to touch.

Man, American vacations were different back then. I can't imagine driving fifteen hours with two six-year-olds, finally getting to the big city and then choosing to erect tents in a theme campground on the outskirts of town instead of collapsing at a hotel with a bar.

Also, thanks to this map, I see that I could have enjoyed this whole Florida experience (sans Disney and Cape Canaveral, sadly), virtually in my own back yard. Danville Virginia is only about a half-hour drive from where I grew up.Mr. Cavinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01634994342702518448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2136311233296776036.post-70477034263500865882011-06-07T05:48:06.095-05:002011-06-07T05:48:06.095-05:00The place looks like a blast to me!
